Chelle Scraps | My Felties

Chelle scraps. Really I do. Sometimes. But I also spend time playing with felt. One of my CT members didn’t realize I make all my felt stuff…with felt (rather than digitally manufacturing them.) While there is still a lot of “digital work” involved, I do make nearly everything using my felt collection. I pulled out a bunch of stuff to show her:

And I thought you might like to see it as well. Can you find the elements from your favorite kit?
Take some time this week for you. Fill that need to create. Scrapping makes my heart sing. I hope it does for you as well.

1.5.12 Lift A CT Member

Hello Everybody!  I hope you are having a very wonderful day!  I am Julie, one of Chelle’s Cheer Team members.

Today we are Lifting a Chelle CT Member! Today’s spotlight is JennJ.  Here is her amazing and prolific Scrap Orchard Gallery.

First off, I would like to share a few of my favorite layouts from her gallery.

This one, Proud Daddy,  is very sweet and makes me smile. I love the framed “feet”prints!

This one, Cinderella’s Castle, is very elegant, I think.  I like how the picture pops.

Under the Sea makes me laugh.  I love the tags identifying what was in the pictures!

Now that you have some ideas popping into your head for your next layout,  here are some scraplift of JennJ’s layouts from other Chelle CT members.

Kairyn and Ronnie both  scraplifted this layout:

Here is Kairyn’s version:

These layouts show off how different people gain inspiration from different parts of the same whole!

Fonnetta chose to lift this Just Believe layout.

Title Tips – Letter Substitutions | Digital Scrapbooking Words on Wednesdaqy

Here’s a quick and easy way to spice up your titles: Substitute an element for one of the letters in your title. Our brains are amazingly adaptive. Typically we can read words, sentences, even paragraphs with missing vowels & mixed up letters. Take advantage of this and substitute elements for your letters.
The most common substitutions are a heart or a ball for an “o”, but don’t restrict yourself to elements in the same shape as your letter — it’ll still be readable. Check out these inspirational layouts from the CT:
Erica substituted a sprinkler for the D in Garden:

Lynett substituted a tree for the A in Christmas:

& Jennifer used the candle flame as an I in Time & a cake for the A in Cake:

Give it a try on your next layout!

Get Well Soon | Digital Scrapbooking Classics

Hello fellow Chelle’s Creations fans. Today we are going to look at some digital scrapbooking pages using the kit Get Well Soon. Do you have pictures of a loved one getting all fixed up at the doctors or hospital after doing a trick on their bike they hadn’t quite mastered? Or do you have pictures of the little or big people in your family feeling under the weather? This kit is perfect for scrapping those memories plus so much more. Chelle’s fabulous ladies have gotten their creative juices flowing to show you some various ways this kit can be used.
Karen used the kit to scrap memories of her son needing surgery.
Lynett has two wonderful layouts to show the possibilites with this kit are endless.

Kaylya scrapped about a more personal topic. So glad to see that he had his last treatment YEAAAA!

Melissa showed off her little fellow being a ring bearer. He is just too cute!

Here is a closer look at the kit and matching wordart.

Gallery Standouts | Digital Scrapbooking Inspiration

Hello!! Roxana here with the Gallery Standouts this week! The decision was hard, as there were many amazing LOs in Chelle’s gallery, but finally these are the three pages I chose:

First Little Builders by superscrappingmom.  The composition of this page is great with the patterned paper as a frame, love the elements in her title and the journaling in the paint smear looks fantastic!

Next is Boxing Day by Angiepangie. This page just caught my eye in the gallery, the ants in the border are just too cute, and her clustered title is so amazing!

And last but not least Angry Birds Invite by Green mother. This invite is just awesome,  love the birds and the fabulous way she used the paper strips and tags! Great job!

All images are linked so you can leave some love, and remember to upload your layouts to Chelle’s gallery, you could be one of the next Gallery Standouts!

Have a great day!!!

Friday Freebie! Gone Fishin’ Stacked Paper | Digital Scrapbooking Freebies

Hi eveyone! I hope you had a great Christmas. I love Christmas and decorating the tree and my house for the holidays, but after Christmas it feels so good to put the Christmas stuff away and get back to normal. I scrapped a LOT of Christmas pages this year and so I was ready to get back some “normal” scrapping. I was working on some photos from last summer when we were up in the mountains and my boys were fishing. So, for today’s Friday Freebie I have a stacked paper for you made with Chelle’s Gone Fishin’.

Happy New Year!
