Using Text Messages in Scrapbooking | Digital Scrapbooking Resources

Today I wanted to write about using text messages in your digital scrapbooking. Texts are such a part of our “smart” and everyday lives. 2 of my nieces actually taught me how to text. (not Chelle) We had a question and answer thread in our forum about how to move the text image so it can be inserted into a layout. This is how Kimberly (enjoyyourpix) explained it. {Thanks to her for the assist in explaining it.}

Screen shot is your best friend. Do you have an iPhone? If so, all you need to do is line up the text you want to save on your screen and hold down the power button on the top and the home button. The screen will kind of flicker/flash. If you go to your camera roll, you will see that the screen shot is in your camera roll. Move it to your computer like you move your photos and you are good to go. It is a png file.

Now let me show you the layouts the CT Ladies created. This is by Jan (QuiltyMom). She used Get Well Soon! Aren’t the x-rays a great addition. They really add depth to the layout. The arrow is from Big City.

Next, Heather used her text messages about homework and a conversation with her son. I think children everywhere can multitask homework and a video game. LOL She used Back 2 School.

Next I have Helen’s text message about winning the Lottery! Isn’t this a fun layout idea? She used Money Money. Papers and flower from CTR {Trek} and the alpha from Pearly Whites

Conversations | Digital Scrapbooking Words On Wednesday

Hey Everyone! I hope you are up to your eyeballs in preparation for the 4th of July holiday here in America. Wherever you are in the world, I hope you are celebrating, scrapping & participating in Iron Scrapper at Scrap Orchard. It’s Wednesday and I wanted to talk about conversations. Recording your conversations in your digital scrapbooking layouts have the potential to be some of your favorite layouts. Conversations between your children and grandparents, children about current events, conversations about the end of the school year, or just things you find amusing. I was talking to Chelle’s Mom on the phone just last night and we both agreed that we were missing out on some of those conversations we could have had with our now deceased parents.

So here goes: a Movie, an Owie, & a Mohawk! Let me show you what the CT team came up with.

Mel (KSCroppyChic) shares a great conversation she had with her daughter, Teanna. Mel used Chalked {Boards}Chalked {School Alpha}  Rainbow Collection {Reds, Golds, & Neutrals,} & Now Showing {Banners & Felties.}Melissa (kscroppychic) She used Now Showing Felties & Banners

Next we have a funny conversation that Jenny (Jenn18) recorded with her little one. She used Get Well Soon & GWS Wort Art. How funny! “No more pictures, my knee hurts so bad!”

Our last layout comes from Jenn J (jmljensen) using Oh! Snap.  She gives us one of those funny “Kids say the darnedest things” layouts.  You’ve got to love a kid with that much confidence!

Looking forward to seeing your conversation layouts in the pin gallery at Scrap Orchard. We’ll chat again soon!
Hugs!

Get Well Soon | Digital Scrapbooking Classics

Hello fellow Chelle’s Creations fans. Today we are going to look at some digital scrapbooking pages using the kit Get Well Soon. Or do you have pictures of the little or big people in your family feeling under the weather? This kit is perfect for scrapping those memories plus so much more. Chelle’s fabulous ladies have gotten their creative juices flowing to show you some various ways this kit can be used.
Karen used the kit to scrap memories of her son needing surgery.
Lynett has two wonderful layouts to show the possibilites with this kit are endless.

Kaylya scrapped about a more personal topic. So glad to see that he had his last treatment YEAAAA!

Melissa showed off her little fellow being a ring bearer. He is just too cute!
