I don’t know about your house, but things have been pretty crazy around here this summer.  I’m hoping that things will settle down as the kids start school this week and we get back into our school-year routines.  The annual change to summer activities & schedules provides some rejuvenation, but to be honest, I could use a re-charge.

THAT is probably the biggest reason I’m excited about Digiscrapapalooza & the Scrapbook Expo in Utah this year.  We all know how sharpening the saw can make a big difference when we are dealing with the never-ending piles of laundry & dirty dishes that come with our day-to-day lives.  I remember coming home last year feeling so…excited!  Spending the weekend with friends — people who “get” my digi obsession, laughing ’til our faces hurt….it was such a pick-me-up for this busy Mommy.  I returned home to my family cheerful & eager to serve them–almost excited about those daily chores.  LOL!  (My husband’s comment was “you should do this EVERY year.”.)
The original scrapbook expo is in Sandy on Sept 28 & 29.  The expo offers a “digi lounge” with access to internet & electricity.  We’ll have some demos, speed scraps, & challenges going on there during the day.  Friday evening we are having our team events.  You know: the fun, crazy stuff we do at Digiscrapapalooza.
There is a 2 day admission/ticket option:  http://scraporchard.com/market/Digiscrapapalooza-Utah-2012.html
Or the Friday only (includes Digiscrapapalooza) admission/ticket option:  http://scraporchard.com/market/Digiscrapapalooza-Utah-2012-One-Day.html
Check the website for all the goodies that come with admission.
If you could use a little Mommy-pick-me-up vacation, this is the perfect opportunity.  It’s close by & not too long–short enough your neighbor can watch the kids while you re-charge.  Grab a friend & come join us!  I’d love to see you there.
{hugs}

PS.  There are a limited number of seats in the digi lounge.  We’ve been allowed to pre-sell seats so our peeps can come to Palooza, but the scrapbook expo & digi-lounge tickets open up to the general public through the scrapbook expo site in a couple days, so if you want to be able to join us, you should jump on this today.
