6.2 Military Playdate

Hey Everybody! Chelle’s Aunt Sari here. Chelle has simply outdone herself with the Military Bundle. It’s HUGE and very appropriate this time of year. She has the bundle broken down into Anchors Aweigh (Navy), Rolling Along (Army), & Wild Blue Yonder (Air Force). Are they not the BEST names ever? I’ve been humming, tapping my toes, tapping my fingers, boppin’ my head, singing songs in my head all week to the great imagery Chelle did with the military marches or songs? LOL!! Sure wish I’d lost some weight this week with all that exercise. Smirk! Like that’s ever worked for me! Don’t get me started on all the patriotic songs and marches. I’m in HEAVEN! There’s some great sales going on and the Fireworks FWP Kit is so stinkin’ cute, you’ll wish you had sparklers and pop-its all year round! Let’s get started with all those goodies!

First, the Military Bundle!

Now for the FAV LO of the Week. I’m really partial to my very first ever digital scrapbook page. It’s of my Uncle Boyce Pitcher, Chelle’s Great Uncle. He served in WWII in the Navy and joined the Navy Choir. He had a beautiful singing voice and also played the organ. I have the advantage of Chelle being close and I have to give her much of the credit. We talked about what would work and then she “taught” me how to do it. I”ll have to play again soon so I can remember what I’ve learned. I’ve put the Creative Team’s LOs in with the kit abbreviations for them. They are just completely beautiful. Not a term used with the military much, but I love the fact that they are all so different: from movies, to green army figurine toys, to parachutes, or museums. I think you’ll be surprised at all the ideas that will bounce from the images. Once again, Ladies! I SALUTE (LOL) you all as well as the US Military – those passed and present! Thank You!!!

Hugs! Until next week…
