Hello Friends! Memorial Day Weekend! A time to review those you love who’ve died. I remember taking my mother and father around to drop of the “dead” flowers, as I used to call it. My Dad grew up in a small mountain town. There was a base of a few families and everyone married within the community back in the day, so we have a lot of double and triple cousins in the community. Decoration Day was also a family reunion. If you went to that community cemetery, you were sure to see your living relatives as well as the deceased’s headstones. We’ve a lot of good memories of that day. Memorial Day also addresses those who’ve died in service to our country.
