My Dear Friends,

For the past year as I’ve struggled with taking better care of myself and taking care of my family and my business, I’ve prayerfully sought direction from the Lord. When my daughter returned from her mission the answer to my prayers became clear. I need to retire. I know this is the right decision but it is still not an easy choice to make.
I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I have had to be part of Scrap Orchard and the friendships I’ve made. I will miss you all.
My store will close at the end of the month after a retirement sale:

Frequently asked questions:

*Are you moving to a different store? No. I will no longer be designing. My designs will not be available anywhere else. Grab it while you can.

Can I still buy one of your classes? What about the videos? You may still watch the videos ONLINE through 3.31.16. Video settings have been changed now so that you can DOWNLOAD the videos and keep a copy for yourself to watch indefinitely.

*  What about a class I’ve purchased from you in the past? You may still watch the videos ONLINE through 3.31.16. Video settings have been changed now so that you can DOWNLOAD the videos and keep a copy for yourself to watch indefinitely.

How long will I have to download my purchases? That policy is set by the store owners/staff, but I’m sure it will be a reasonable amount of time.

What about the designer club? There are details in the design club forum. Basically all club members will be refunded through 12.1.15 Club webinars cannot be downloaded, but you are welcome to watch and record your screen for future use. Webinars can be WATCHED through 7.31.16 (when my subscription expires).

Will you have any more new products? Yes. I have a template set (freebies from the SO blog) that will be released 12.18 and my Winter Candyland products from my advent day will be released 12.25.

What about freebies on your blog? Facebook fan club group? My blog/website will remain until my subscription is up. It doesn’t make sense for me to keep paying in perpetuity for everything. So as my subscriptions expire, things will vanish. If you want them, you should act quickly.

Remember, I’m not dropping off the face of the earth. I just need to not do this as a business anymore. You can still email me if you need something.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Such a stunner!  I never thought you’d retire!  Will miss you terribly.  So very sorry to see you go.  You’re so talented and creative and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know you.  I’m sure I still have your email, but I hope you’ll still “just be” on FB so we can see where this “retirement” thing takes you.  Much love and thanks for everything!!!

Your announcement is quite a surprise, but can fully understand and appreciate your decision! You are one of the pillars in the digital scrapping community and will be missed very much. I love watching your videos. Best wishes to you and your family! Have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.

Oh my gosh, first you and now Scrap Orchard?  What’s a girl to do when one of her favorite designers and store shuts it’s doors?  You will be greatly missed as will Scrap Orchard.

Sadness- I just started getting into digi-scrapping with PSE and you were one of my favorite designers so far. You will be missed!
P.S. Since YouTube is free will your tutorial videos remain out there indefinitely? Hoping so as I love to learn from them :)
