April 2013 Desktop Freebie! | Digital Scrapnbooking Freebies

Every month I say how fast it has gone by… and it is so true! Is it spring where you are? Here in the northeast, we still have snow on the ground… but the days are getting longer and warmer! I’m hopeful that spring is right around the corner, lol.

I wanted a springy desktop to keep me hoping… I used Chelle’s Baptism kit, which is great for lots of layouts – not just baptism ones! Take a look:

I used a fun filter to alter the colors of my photos slightly and I love the instagram look!

Three sizes are available in one download: 1024×768, 1280×1024 and 1280×800.

I cannot believe we are creeping up on March already… seems like we just celebrate the new year! Even though those of in New England are still knee deep in the white stuff, with more coming this weekend, I opted for a spring type of desktop! I think I’m hoping spring is right around the corner! lol

Wahoo! I just love fall… the fresh, crisp air; the warm days and cool nights; the colors – oh my! We went to the apple orchard today and came home with a 1/2 bushel of apples. I made apple crisp – a favorite fall treat around here!

Of course, that inspired October’s desktop:

The kids are headed back to school this week… where did the summer go to? I hope you get a bit more warm weather before the cold descends!

This month I chose to use Chelle’s Back to School kit because, well, it’s perfect for a desktop this time of the year. I added in some flowers from her Rainbow Collection so that it’s not too “schooly” – hopefully it’s a good balance for everyone!

I can’t believe it’s August already! Where does the time go? Summer is nearly to an end (which is fine by me given the extreme heat and humidity we’ve had in my neck of the woods!) and school will be upon us soon… but that’s next month and let’s not get ahead of ourselves! lol

By now I’m sure you’ve seen Chelle’s latest adorable Ladybug Hugs kit? Isn’t it the cutest?! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make you all a cute desktop with it! I absolutely love the fun patterns and bright colors!
