Hello Friends! I’ve been over in the gallery checking out the GREAT digital scrapbooking layouts our fellow scrappers have made. I found a few to share with you. I really enjoy seeing the layouts you create using Chelle’s awesome products.

Yolanda (ybaros) & Kirstiegirl both used See Clearly Now for their layouts. I love the big photo that Yolanda used and the definition. Kirstie’s clusters really add a nice touch; I also like the way she added the strings.

Next Shazzabess used one of Chelle’s newer products, Aviator, for her layout. Her use of stacks & stitches really add dimension to her layout.

Last ScrappinRae used Pizza Amore to share her layout of her little person getting a little slice of heaven. I think the green checkerboard near her journaling is very eye-catching.

Hello Everyone! Has your life calmed down some now that the kids are back to school? I sure hope so. This month for Perfect Pairs I challenged the ladies to do a digital scrapbooking layout using any of Chelle’s “Chalked” products & any or all of her Back 2 School products. There’s quite a selection to choose from.

Hi! Have you looked at the gallery over at Scrap Orchard lately? There are some amazing digital scrapbooking layouts that will catch your eye. I find myself studying them and trying to figure out how they created the layouts. I picked out a few of them to share with you. All the products are linked up for you below the layouts!

Ybaros used Aviator & Aviator Bonus Papers. Love all the layering & cluster work she has done, the filmstrip pictures and the flight path. Her use of the paint in the background really pulls all the colors together.

Next we have a layout by clemmon03 She also used Aviator & Aviator Bonus Papers. Her layout is completely different from ybaros, but is just as cute. I love the cloud background paper and her cluster work is beautiful. The pictures of the kids wearing headsets can only be improved by the smiles on their faces.

Htew used Apple of my Eye Bundle to tell her tale of their family trip to the Apple Orchard. Her paper elements are so fantastic. All the different layering shapes really add some great texture to the layout. Great clustering.

Last I have a layout by Jaharvey. She used Bluebird on my Shoulder to add some great golds & blues of her scenic lake layout. She uses just a few elements, but they add to the peaceful beauty of the lake.

CU Stitch Toolkit | Digital Scrapbooking Inspiration

Classics: We Wish You a Merry Christmas

While shopping last week, I saw Christmas decorations already out in some of my favorite stores. It’s so exciting! I thought we could carry the excitement over to Chelle’s blog with a look at a classic kit We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Let me show you the merry pages Chelle’s team members have shared with us.

Here’s a fun page by Jenny. Looks like Elvis is still with us! He made a surprise visit to her family Christmas gathering, and Chelle’s kit matches her photos in theme and color perfectly. I love the music pages used as accent mats behind the photos, don’t you?

Next, Mary had some photos of Katy decorating her little tree, and she used We Wish You A Merry Christmas to make her page. I love the use of the wood paper for a background, and the heart banner across the top is the perfect touch.

Helen made a double page layout for us, and her photos are also about decorating the tree. Looks like she has a cute little helper, too! I love the way she used the music notes as accents. It reminds me how we always have Christmas music playing in the background while we decorate.

Erica has a page for us that is has a most adorable photo and the perfect title. I’m sure those boys ARE the joy of her world! She has done a masterful job of layering the mats and accenting the photo with clusters of greenery, snowflakes, berries, and flowers.

Finally, Jan has made a page about her visit to the Disney Christmas Carol Train when it visited Washington, DC. The style of Chelle’s elements coordinate perfectly with the decorations in the photos. I love the clustered look and the way she was able to use several photos on her page. She told me that she made 9 pages of her visit to this event using We Wish You A Merry Christmas bundle, and this page was the last in her series (hence, the appropriate title). Can you find the Quickies she used? Those Quickies save tons of time when making pages.

I’m getting more excited about Christmas coming again! I hope you are, as well. Here’s a closer look at the bundle and the individual kits and quickies in the market.

Good day, all! I’ve been taking a stroll through the gallery at Scrap Orchard, picking some of my favorite layouts posted in recent days. Two pages caught my eye that used Chelle’s newest birthday themed kit One Year Older. First, there’s this gorgeous page by larkd (Linda). I love the way she used the banners on the page, and I really like how she added a tight dark shadow to her title words to make them stand out. Did you notice she made a page about the fair with a birthday kit and it works perfectly? I love that.

I also love this page by Spudgeon that is about a special birthday celebration using the same kit. I love the yellow paper background, and I love the way she added a semi-transparent paper behind her journaling to allow for easy reading. She also added the names of the children on the photo on top which I love to do in digital scrapbooking. Great memory keeping!

Here’s another page that jumped out at me. Keepscrappin (Kayla) made this one using Chelle’s Taste of Home and her Pizza & Pasta Bundle which coordinate perfectly together. The large photo caught my eye, and the way she layered a few important elements on the corners anchoring the smaller photos really caught my attention, too. I love the small clusters with the ribbons tying everything together.

Finally, I found a page by djp332 (Donna) who is a guest on Chelle’s team this month. Look carefully: She has made a digital scrapbooking page about a paper box she made in real life using one of Chelles’s digital scrapbooking kits Indian Summer. I love that it’s a bit recursive to think about! And, I love all aspects of how this looks. The box she made is adorable and will be perfect for a small treat for someone, and the page she made about the box will allow her to save the memory for herself, as well. Perfect!

Unlikely Pairs: In the Pool & Eeeek!/Carve It Up | Digital Scrapbooking Layouts

Hello Everyone! This month for unlikely pairs, I combined a couple of Chelle’s digital scrapbooking kits that I thought might stump our Creative Team. In the Pool, Eeeeek! & Carve It Up! Seriously how can you combine Halloween & Swimming? Of course the ladies did a magnificent job of showing me how wrong I was, they are un-stumpable! LOL!

Roxana (roxanamdm) combined the blues and oranges and used a great photo of sand-covered feet. I immediately could “feel” that sand on my skin. That wonderful wet & grimy feeling.

Next Helen (winipeg1). She also used the yellows of In the Pool with the purples & greens of Eeeek! A great combination of two unlikely kits. Highlighting the green elements works out well.

Last Tammy (CraftyTam) used Splash Mountain as the focus of her layout. Using “scared” for a water rollercoaster is a great way to combine these kits! Marvelous! Love the wave banner!

Hello! I was just over looking at the gallery and found some wonderful digital scrapbooking ideas to share with you.

First let’s talk about CraftyTam. Tammy used Mane Event & Me & My Shadow Styles to create this layout about “Locks of Love.” What beautiful hair! Love the braid of hair on the side of the layout!

Next we have Sunnstergirl. She created this sweet layout to help remember her daughter’s blessing. I love the way she used the clustering and how she spelled out blessing dress and aligned the cluster of the blessing dress in a straight line. So pretty! She used Choose the Right {Eternal}.
